My server actually warned me because the email will look like it comes from your server/ISP but will have an attachment. You can read about it here: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.mimail.a@mm.html Again, I am going to take this time to remind you to get virus protection, if you don't have it. Get a subscription for Norton or another to keep your protection current. This worm was discovered yesterday, and as soon as I got on line, my virus protection was updated on my computer so if I get a email with the worm attachment, I will be warned by my Norton AntiVirus program. If you have a virus program, you should run your update program so you will get protection against this new one. Since I am going away tomorrow and will be using my laptop, I just renewed my Norton subscription for the laptop to protect it when I am away and only using the laptop to get my mail. It cost me $14.95 for the year, a bargain compared to repairing your computer after a worm or virus has infected it. Feel free to write me if you have questions. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA, listowner http://www.connorsgenealogy.com Professional Genealogy Research All outgoing mail virus free, scanned by Norton 2002 ==== ENG-DERBYSHIRE-CHESTERFIELD Mailing List ==== Check out the list's website for rules, guidelines, how to post to the list, view archives, unsubscribe, change from L to D or D to L: http://www.connorsgenealogy.com/Chesterfield/
