I am hoping to make contact with the descendants of, or find information concerning, WILLIAM BALL, who died 4-11-1872, in a mine accident. He was a Shotfire at Hollingwood, Staveley Co., Chesterfield. I am especially interested in finding the names of his wife and children, but anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much. Loretta Myrter
Hi Loretta, The 1871 census would give you the names of his wife and children but unfortunately I don't have that census on my web site yet. I will be transcibing more census years and parish registers over the coming the months so if I come across your William I shall let you know. Meanwhile if you wanted to check out my web site it can be found at: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~spire/staveley/index.htm Should you want to be updated on site additions please subscribe to the list at: http://www.british-genealogy.com/mailman/listinfo/opc-dby-staveley Take care Jayne St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada Jayne's Digital Reflections: http://www.jadire.com Archive CD Books: http://www.archivecdbooks.org If you don't know your family's history, then you don't know anything.
