Dear All, I am a new subscriber and am currently researching my wife's family. I have traced them back to the Staveley Woodthorpe area. I I am mainly concentrating on the family of Thomas ANDERSON and Ann PATTISON and their son Mordecai ANDERSON born c 1822. I know that he was married to a woman called Jane who died in Sheffield in 1848. It appears from the IGI that they had three children William, John Thomas and Mordecai all baptised in Staveley.
