RG12/2870 folio 97 page 3 Randle DUDDS head aged 41 Bricklayer born Oldham LANCS Elizabeth wife aged 35 born Flintshire Hope (as it states all the children were) William aged 13 Elizabeth Hannah?(2nd name not clear) aged 11 John aged 10 Thomas Randle aged 6 Herbert aged 4 James Parry aged 2 Ernest aged 7m Note that Randle’s place of birth is different on this census……… As you can see James 2nd Christian name is PARRY so the marriage you have maybe the correct one. The mother’s maiden name was often used as a 2nd Christian name for the children………..I checked the GRO fiche and it definately states Andrew DUDDS but again this could depend on dialect or accents as to how the vicar heard it...........
