Can anyone confirm that a Cumbria FHS 1851 booklet for Dean does NOT exist? I've had a look at: http://64.177.198.178/genuki/cfhspub.html and can't see one there, so am presuming the Census hasn't been transcribed for that area. The original records for Dean are available on LDS film. Chris, The November 2002 issue of the Cumbria History Society gives a list of 1851 census awaiting publication. Dean is one of these. Barbara Smith, the census co-ordinator, says that of the places listed as awaiting publication 99% have been transcribed. Mel
