Chris.......I answered via email as all you Brits are snoozing at midnight our time. Plus he lives 'just down the road a bit'....... I told him where to find the security settings in IE re cookies and Java......and assume it is the same as my IE5.5. And directed him to the MS news groups where he can get answers on his O/S and IE6. Cheers.....Figgs > Hi Chris, > > I have tried to access both the URLs but all I get is that little hour glass > that just keeps on tumbling. > > Being very much a senior / newbie at both genealogy and computers, I am not > sure if my javascript or cookies are on or not. Thanks, Heather. I don't know quite why Roy should be getting the tumbling hourglass. I've just tried accessing the site with java and cookies off, and simply get directed to a page headed Error: Invalid Access Error. To encourage you all, the A2A site is currently accessing 'a free lunch and cultural event' for users of the site on Saturday 30th November at 12.30 pm. http://www.a2a.pro.gov.uk/about/uncovered.asp Chris chris@dickinson.uk.net
