While browsing through the LDS microfilm of the parish records of Whitehaven's Holy Trinity, I came across a note at the end of the year 1799. The note was of interest to me because it was signed: Henry Jefferson, Chapel Warden. Henry Jefferson happened to be the head of the family that I was studying.
