Hello Listers, I am new to this list and wonder if anyone can help me? My 3xgreat grandfather William SETREE was living in Stanwix when he made his Will in 1778. Does anyone recognise the name SETREE? - this man's son owned property in Appley-in-westmorland and I am presuming the family came from around the area. The family was quite wealthy owning businesses, properties in London and being able to leave money to charity. Which local body would I approach to find out where he is buried?
