I'm new to the list although I am on the Cumberland list. I am interested in GOLDIE (Gaudy, Goudy, Goudie, Gouldie, Gouldy) mostly in West Cumberland but there was a wee nest of them in Carlisle. BRIGGS BROMLEY Also REED, but, in particular CUNDITH from Carlisle. Its a name Ive never, ever heard of before. Mary Ann Bromley, dau. of Thomas BROMLEY and Elizabeth CUNDITH married Robert BRIGGS on 24th May 1827. If anyone has any other examples of CUNDITH, I would be pleased to hear. Only just started with this particular line. Eliz. is my ggggrandma.
