Help, I am trying to trace my family. They are Carswells from Carlisle My father William was born on the 15th march 1907 the son of John and Mary Catherine nee Daly. The only name near to and in this area that could link is a John Casell born 3rd May1880 to a William and Mary nee Hodgson living at 1, Dunn's Court, South John Street, (my family originate from this area), the 1881 census gives that address as unoccupied,but at 2,Dunn's Court there is a William and Mary Cassell with 3 sons and a daughter, the youngest son being a John 11month old,this seems to match. Any help with this or further help would be appreciated. Ian
