I am researching the families of David Wilson b. abt. 1795 who married Margaret Bell, b. abt. 1799. They were born in and around Annan in Dumfriessshire and married there. Children: William chr. 18.2.1821, Bridgend, Drysedale George b. 22.3.1826, Bridgend. Maynie b. 22.3.1826, Annan Margaret b. 30.12.1832, Gretna Ann chr. 3.10.1841, Gretna These names and dates were taken from the Family Search website and I have still to confirm them. I believe Ann was my g.grandmother who married James Wray in Everton, Liverpool on 12.2.1866. David Wilson, father, was a farmer according to the marriage certificate. I appreciate these births were not in Cumberland but as I suspect the family lived in the county in later years I wonder if anyone is researching this family. Shirley Cormack
