I was thinking what a good idea it would be if there could be a exchange of research in respective towns in which we live in. Where I live is no good to to me, but looking in the parish registers for some one else, I thought what a wealth of information there is, especially pre 1837. As I don't live anywhere near Carlisle I would be very keen to do any research here in exchange for some one doing research for me in the Carlisle records. Does anyone else think this is good idea? Rather than re-invent the wheel, those interested in such an idea may like to know about the existing Look Up Exchange here: http://www.lookupcentral.f9.co.uk/volunteers.html The service is still actively seeking volunteers to help with lookups. -- Cheers, Anne The Docwra Family Research Project http://resource.at/docwra Project Forums http://www.yobunny.co.uk/forums/phpBB2/index.php
