Not a bad idea.........but where are you. I am near Toronto, Canada for instance and could direct people to the National Archives and census information for any descendants that emigrated here. For me.......I am researching around the Whitehaven area. I have a brick wall who lived there, but no idea where he came from. However one kind soul found a very good possible in Asby, which I will follow up on via parish records. All of my research is pre-1800 btw. I have a lot of names I picked up the other day from Whitehaven parish records, simply because I recognized them from my List and Chris' Lists. I will put them out here shortly.
