I contracted with a Malcolm Hills (researcher in Carlisle) to try and find what happened with the children of Thomas Cholmley (mayor of Carlisle) and to confirm that this Thomas was buried in St Mary's, Carlisle. He acknowledge receipt of the money on Nov 18 last year and promised to "keep me informed of progress" ... I have received a couple of short messages in 2002 but that was the last contact with him. I've sent a number of emails and his web-site appears to be still working but I'm worried that something has happened to him and I haven't noticed/been told. Maybe he has been ill or something. Can SKS let me know he is still alive/working??? This research is very important to me, so I'm waiting patiently... Peter Chomley Australia
