    3. Hi Listers, I am interested in contact from anyone researching the "Graham" name in the Cumberland, ENGLAND. area. My current research is in Arthuret Parish in Cumberland, ENGLAND. and involves two localities called "Randalinton" and "Brackenhill". I have a string of names at "Randalinton" going back to 1561 who are almost certainly my ancestors but am fast running out of research material to link all of these names together. The "Brackenhill" family is descended from Fergus Graham of "The Mote", 3rd son of William "Long Will" Graham. I have two known connections between the Graham family at "Randalinton" and the Graham family at "Brackenhill". The earliest provable event in my family is a 1699 marriage at Arthuret between John Graham of "Randalinton" and Jane Graham of "Rye-Hill" in Kirklinton Parish, Cumberland, ENGLAND.. John Graham died in 1712 and Jane Graham died in 1727. Unfortunately the parish registers for Arthuret Parish for the early 1600's are badly burnt and unavailable for research until such time as technology exists to restore them. These parish registers would probably provide the material that I am unable to find elswhere. If you are researching in the period of 1650 - 1750 (or earlier) for the Graham name in Arthuret Parish, Cumberland, England, I would love to hear from you. I have a considerable amount of research material that I have accumulated which may help us to connect our research. Best regards, Bruce New Zealand
