I am interested in the family of William BOLT, hopefully still in Redruth, Cornwall. >From the 1841 census, I get the following information. "BOLT, William and family, census, 1841, Redruth, Cornwall, Redruth 13, 75, 103, 1841. "Redruth, CON BOLT, William, 40, M, Pedlar, not born CON BOLT, Elizabeth, 40, F, -, not born CON BOLT, Uriah, 12, M, -, not born CON BOLT, Matthew, 10, M, -, not born CON BOLT, Caroline, 7, F, -, not born CON BOLT, Samuel, 5, M, -, CON BOLT, Angelina, 3, F, -, CON. >From the small amount of 1851 index that I have seen, I was unable to locate the family. My primary interest is to see if I can find the place of birth of Samuel BOLT, and hopefully the same details for his parents. He had left the UK before 1861 so cannot look at the census. From what I can see, this family wanders (everywhere!) as they peddle their wares. Suggestions on steps to take welcome. Thanks. I have it only for Redruth and there are no Bolt's listed as private residents or in the commercial section. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com Professional Genealogy Research All outgoing mail virus free, scanned by Norton 2002
