Hello My husband's TREWARTHA family lived in and around Gwennap from 1798 ish until at least the 1871 Census. William bap 1829 Gwennap, was buried March 1880 in Redruth and his eldest son (my husbands gr grandfather) William bap 1854 Gwennap had moved to Dalton in Furness, Lancashire by 1879. According to the 1881 Census living at 20 Trefuses/Trefusis Terrace, Redruth, were the widow Elizabeth (m.s. SYMONS) age 48 and 6 of her children of whom the two eldest boys were tin miners. By the 1891 Census another son was also a tin miner.
