    3. Does anyone connect to these Paynters, originally from Redruth, Cornwall Jonathan Paynter's parents may have been a John and Mary Paynter, both of Redruth. When the tin mines became depleated, the parents and four sons moved to Anglesey, Wales.     3. Betty, thank you for your interesting posting. Last summer I spent sometime in Anglesey, at Parys copper mine / Amwlch having a look at the Cornish connection. My main aim was to trace memorial headstones. There were four which mentioned the PAYNTER family and of course other Cornish families, particularly TREWEEK(from Gwennap) .
