Hi list, More information. If William was married in 1768, he was single (and alone) in Chesterton, and probably born about 1748. So, can anyone tell me of a William GOTOBED/GODABED/etc born around this time who sort of "disappeared" from the maternal home without a burial record??? John, There is information regarding eleven members of the GOTOBED family listed in the Church Book: St. Andrew's Street Baptist Church, Cambridge 1720-1832, published by the Baptist Historical Society. One family had no less than nine daughters[ just imagine the phone bill ! ] If this is interest, I can let you have the details of the individuals recorded. Regards, Tony Simpson.
