    1. NELSON/HAGGER 1861

    3. Hi I am hoping that SKS could do a lookup in the 1861 census and see if they can help me find a Kitty Nelson or perhaps Kitty Hagger. Kitty was born about 1831/1832 in either Croydon cum Clopton or in Ireland (it depends on the source). I found her in 1841 living with her mother Biddy Hagger (formerly Nelson) and stepfather James Hagger. I look forward to hearing from anyone and thanks in advance for any help. Dianne in Edmonton.

    3. Have you found her on the 1851 census? There's a 22 year old unmarried Catherine Nelson in Caxton Workhouse, born in Croydon, who could be a match.     3. Hi Ruth I wonder if that is her - because I seem to lose her altogether after 1841. Her mother died in about 1849 and her step father a year or so earlier so this is could be her. The trouble is that the age would be wrong by about 10 years. I haven't found her on the 1851 or on BMD records as of yet.
