The Y and N mean whether or not the person was born in the county where the census was being taken. So the older Elizabeth Pettett was not born in Cambridgeshire and neither was Elizabeth Fisher. Given that the Suffolk border is spitting distance from the hamlet of Upend it's most likely she came from one of the parishes over the border. I've had a quick look for her in the 1851 census transcription for Cambridgeshire with no success so cannot pin down a more accurate birthplace for her. The 40/45 age is a bit odd. The enumerators in 1841 were asked to round down adults' ages to the nearest 5 years - maybe she was due to turn 45 the next day and they couldn't decide what to put! Ages under 15 were supposed to be accurate.
