Hi Would there be a trade directory for Kirtling & if so what different years does it go up to. Also any of you who know or have done research in the area is there a Butcher's shop with the name Poulter now or in the past Regards Janice

Hi Janice You can check some of these yourself on www.historicaldirectories.org. I had a quick look at 1896 and 1916 and there is no POULTER tradesperson listed in Kirtling although there is a PETTETT/PETTIT in each (another name I know you're interested in).
