Here she is in 1871 (not much help): Sarah Jane Bishop 16 Water Beach Fen, Cambridgeshire, England Servant Islington St Mary London I'm guessing from the 1851 census that there is a chance that she is the (future) child of John and Mary Bishop of Cottenham. They have a 3-year-old Granger on the census, and unless there are two with such an unusual name, *his* birth was registered in Chesterton in December 1847 (as Grainger). Estelle Wolfers, Comberton >Sarah was my wife's G Grandmother. We have found her in the 1881 census in >London, married to Edward S. Lambarth, giving her age as 26, and birthplace >as Cottenham Fens, Cambridge. The marriage was found in Free BMD, June >quarter 1875, giving her maiden name as Bishop, married in Islington. We >can't find her birth in Free BMD, which is not surprising because the >coverage is less than 10% in the period 1854 - 1856. No sign in IGI either. >Can some kind person please find Sarah in the 1861 Census where her parents >might be with her?
