    3. I received this website from another county's mailing list. When I searched for 'Cambridge' many news articles came up and in one article mention was made of "Stirbitch Fair". Does anyone know if this was the former name of "Stourbridge Fair"? The website to check out is http://libraryweek.galedemo.com/history.htm. Then click on 'The Times Digital Archive 1785-1985' - a very interesting website. Celia Perry, Ontario Canada.

    3. Hi list, After checking the website mentioned by Celia Perry (and a huge THANK YOU for sharing it), I have found a long lost relative. I have been looking for a death record for Joshua Whaley for a long time. The story was he had died and left 5 children to be raised by uncles. It now appears he was transported after being found guilty (in 1842) of starting a neighbor's straw pile on fire! (Such a harsh sentence!) My question is: 1. Was it normal that his family remain behind ? 2. Is there anyway I can find where he was transported to? Would it probably be Australia? Thank you for any feedback.
