Hi Ray, The CFHS fiche for Litlington only goes up to 1845, but the online 1851 census index shows Mary Ann TAYLOR, aged 15 months, living with her parents Joseph aged 30 and Ann aged 29. There are quite a few other TAYLOR families there too. Hello Paul and Lesley, Thank you for your trouble and advice, it is very much appreciated. Those other Taylors in Litlington are very much a part of the family also - I have much work to do here. Co-incidentally my family tree is deeply rooted in your part of the world (Dethic, Lea & Holloway, Cromford, Milford, Duffield) - areas of which I believe are rather nice to visit. Having, in my 53 years, not had the opportunity to travel to England, I suddenly find that I will be there within a couple of weeks. It will be fantastic to visit the area and to simply 'feel' the places and breathe the air. I am really looking forward to it.
