    3. Estelle: Thanks for your help with Sarah J Bishop; We have sent for the birth entry copy to the Cambridge R.O. I am not familiar with the information that one can expect from the 1871 census; is there an address and family (employer's name) associated with the entry for Sarah? We have looked at all the sources available (IGI, Free BMD) to us around Granger Bishop. It looks as if that Mary was born a Granger (no "i") which would explain the strange name; we can't relate John Bishop and Mary Granger to "our" Sarah Jane. It begins to look as if the whole family may have moved to London; there is a John Bishop family with Elizabeth and two children all born in Cottenham, but living in Middlesex on Myrtle St. - and there are three Myrtle Streets in the abbreviated Motco map index, so some clue as to where Sarah Jane was "in service" might help to localize the parents. Strangely enough both my Dixon Grandfather and his future wife were in a similar situation, he was working for his future father-in-law while she was "in service" with another family a few streets away. Thanks again, Paul & Jane Dixon Born in England, in Canada for 40 years. Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
