I have been trying to find a marriage for a Wm.Nightall or Knightall from Ely to a Rosetta Sheppard from Market Harborough and have not been able to find it anywhere..Am beginning to think that either they never married and just said they were (after all 10 of their children..) or they ran off to Gretna Green .. Does any sks out there have the addresses where I can write..One genealogist told me that there are about four different places you have to write as there is no one clearing house for their records..It would be either 1846+.. They are not listed in the GRO Index at all..and I can find nothing in the Ely H.T.marr.records not Mkt.Harborough Parish Records for them..and not where they were living when the first child was born..in 1847..
