I have a John Lucas (my 4th g-grandfather) who I believe lived in the Cambridgeshire area or perhaps Hertsfordshire who married Ann Norman 15 Jun 1773 in Royston, Hertsfordshire. I believe that one of their children was Hannah Norman Lucas who was born 1792 and who married Jabez Barron on 22 Oct 1812 in Royston, Hertsfordshire. Royston's records seem to be split between Hertsfordshire and Cambridgeshire since it was on the dividing line. John and Ann may also have had a son, Clement Lucas who was christened in Hertsfordshire 13 Mar 1778. Or perhaps this was a nephew? Hannah and Jabez named a son Clement Lucas Barron b. 13 Oct 1813 in Cambridge. They had 8 children who all emigrated to the US with them in 1837. Many of them lived in Michigan.
