HI Kerri-Ann Have you checked out the Cambridge Family History sites. the 1841 census 1851 census Marriages and burials indexes on their searchable databases. http://www.cfhs.org.uk/Search.html Regards Lynn Genealogy is like playing hide and seek. Georgiana was born in 1843 at St Ives. Hannah the mother should have been born in Ely. Georgiana immigrated with her Aunt and Uncle Murfitt to NZ so I presume she became an orphan. She may or may not be with her parents. She immigrated in 1858. Hi All Could some one please tell me what is on the early censuses, or are they just a list of surnames I know they can vary from place to place. I have found 2 references to the name TEESON on the Cambridge St Mary's the Great list, 1 in 1801 and 1 in 1811. I am trying to see if they have any connection to the HUNT, JOHN, or MADDOX families. I am looking for a connection between a bride and groom, JOHN and HUNT, in Stoke Newington in 1811, and their witnesses. Am going by a rather convolvulated route but have been very lucky so far in proving the IGI correct. Unfortunately it does not have any more answers. Happy hunting Beth in Toronto
Dear Lynn Yes, I have looked into those census at that website but I was after the full details (whom was living with who and what there occupations were) without having to order anything. The 1841 census didn't have 2 of the daughters on it. Namely Mary Ann and 'Hannah'. The baptisms, deaths and Marriages were of some help. Anyways thanks for your reply and I'll have to keep hunting.
