Hi List Sorry if you've seen this saga before... Thomas WILLSON was born in Ely Cambs around 1841. His son George Herbert WILLSON was born in Boston, Linc in 1864, the mother being Mary Ann WILLSON, formerly SMITH. Mary Ann died in 1865. I have both the birth (George's) and death certs. What I can't find is any trace of the marriage between Thomas WILLSON and Mary Ann SMITH. FreeBMD has barely started transcribing the marriages from 1860 to 1865. I have searched the IGI in vain. I had hoped to find them in 1861 census, but so far with no luck. If anyone stumbles over this marriage would they please let me know.
