Hello All: For some time I've been trying to find the location of French Drove. I first thought it was near Thorney, then near Parson Drove or maybe it was Parson Drove and the name changed. Now, I'm just rereading Edward STOREY's book PORTRAIT of the FEN COUNTY and on page 173 he states: "I looked at a number of Droves. I passed - Tholomas Drove, Parson Drove, Holbeach Drove, French Drove, and Whaplode Drove." So...it seems to have been between Holbeach Drove and Whaplode Drove - can anyone help? I'm looking for the parish churches that would have been attended by the community. Thanks in advance Regards - Carol California
