Hi I'm currently stuck trying to find the marriage of a Richard Chapman (b.c1845 Sawston, Cambs, England) to a Sarah Ann ? (b.c1850 Sawston, Cambs, England) - per 1881 census. Can anyone help either directly, or merely give me some pointer as to where I go next. 1881 census places them in Bulwell, Nottingham, 1861 census (Richard) in Sawston, Cambs. They were not married in the Parish church in Sawston, nor in the Parish church in Bulwell. Richard was a Plate Layer on the railway, so may have moved around before settling down. Sarah's maiden name may be Barker (ie the only Sarah Ann of the right age in the 1861 census).
