Hi to all on the list Can anyone on the list help with the following street locations in Cambs. According to the 1913 Street and General Directory of Cambridgeshire one of my DIX family was residing at No: 6 Gresham Terrace, Cherryhinton Road. The directory does not specify in which part of Cambs this road is. It would be appreciated if some kind lister could assist, possibly a local. If there is a local on the list that could help with a digital image of the property (if it still exists) it would be a bonus. The gentleman concerned is a Benjamin Alexander DIX born 22 April 1872 in Saffron Walden, Essex. Benjamin later moved on to Cambridgeshire ca 1901 and married in the September Quarter of 1909, the marriage was registered in Chesterton. He married Edith M ? Davison and later moved to Littleport where he lived at No: 29 The Crescent before moving on to Cambridge where he died in 1949. He had one son Sidney Alan DIX who also lived in Cambs and married a Marjorie COBB in ca 1940. Sidney and Marjorie had 3 children Rosemary born ca 1943 married Ian THOMPSON in 1962. Michael born ca 1946 married Jenifer TEVERSHAM in 1966 Barbara born ca 1951 married Steven BROWN in 1972 Any help / additional information or photos of these locations or families would be greatly appreciated.
