This is my first posting to the list about my MUNNS family interests in Huntingdonshire, and possibly Cambridgeshire. My gt.grandfather was Albins MUNNS, born in 1854 in Bluntisham, Hunts.. He was a cabinet maker and moved to Rochdale, Lancs where he married Jane Hopkinson in 1878. Their children (all born in Rochdale), were: Sarah Elizabeth (1879) - my grandmother Susan (1883) Joseph (1884) May (1890) Clifford (1895) Albins father was Edward MUNNS, born 1823 in Holywell, Huntingdonshire. He was a shoemaker and married Susannah ALBINS at Bluntisham in 1853. Edward's father was John MUNNS born 1791 in Holywell. He was a farmer or ag. lab and married an Ann (time and place unkown), who herself was born in Eltisley, Cambridgeshire about 1796. Their children included:- John, Peter and Edward. If anyone recognises these families, I would love to hear from you. I would particularly like to learn more about John MUNNS and his wife Ann. Regards Colin Baldwin

Hi I notice that you are researching MUNNS. I have just had some info that is a possible connection to my family tree & the surname is NUNN.
