I am searching for the surname WACEY, in particular, which was my mothers maiden name. She is now 87 and a bit forgetful. She recently said she thought the WACEYs had a shop in St Neots (is that in Cambridgeshire?) Then a few days later she said it may have been the STOTTs!! My great grandmother was Mary Adelaide STOTT, (b. 1850 in Adelaide, Aust. d. 1938 in Sydney, Aust.) who married George David WACEY (B 1814, somewhere in England) d. 1890 in Sydney Australia. Hope there is someone out there who may have relevant info on the WACEY line..the name has died out in Australia as my Mum was one of 5 girls.
