John, I have a Webb line in Cambridge. It's not much but here it is: Elizabeth Webb born about 1774. She married William Japes, born 1775, Impington, Cambridgeshire. The marriage took place on 5 Jan. 1797 at St. Mary Le Strand, Westminster, London. They raised their family in Stow Cum Quy, Cambridgeshire. I have been unable to determine the parent's of Elizabeth. I'm assuming she is from Cambridgeshire but I'm not sure what town, Quy, Impington or thereabouts. Elizabeth died on 22 May 1841 Stow Cum Quy. Can you make a connection to my Webb? Rich Ward Frederick, Maryland
My WEBB's start with Elizabeth (b 1737 Histon) her parents were Robert WEBB & Elizabeth BURTON (m 1734 Girton). So far that's all I know about my WEBBs, its possible that they are related but at this time who knows, if I find a connection I will contact you. Happy Hunting Many thanks John J.Bridgeman@BTInternet.Com I use Archive CD Books to help with my research http://www.archivecdbooks.org. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Richward8166@aol.com> To: <ENG-CAMBRIDGESHIRE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, July 24, 2004 7:17 PM Subject: Re: [ENG-CAMB] My Interests > John, > > I have a Webb line in Cambridge.
