    3. Hi Anne My RICHARD POPE married SARAH RUSSELL (from THETFORD) in 1810 at STREATHAM. The witnesses were JOHN RUSSELL and WILLIAM CLARKE I don't have a JOHN POPE 1870 but I have found to my cost that there were quite a few POPE'S around at that time.     3. Hi Linda I have found Richard and Sarah's marriage in the Stretham PRs also the baptism of a Sarah Russell daughter of William and Sarah on 15th May 1791 -is this the right Sarah? My 3x great grandfather Hopkin Russell had a brother William baptised in 1758 and a first cousin William baptised in 1763. In 1782 a William Russell married a Sarah Pennington and in 1785 a William Russell married a Sarah Brooks but I am unable to work out which William married which Sarah!
