Hello everyone, My name is Jan and I live in Brisbane... I have joined this list hoping to find out more about my Harry SMITH.. Harry was the son of William SMITH ....who was a Hay Dealer and still alive in 1877................ this I have from his wedding certificate to Mary Ann STAPLETON nee CRAMPTON. in 1877..on which he states he was 26 years old which would make his Birth 1851..This marriage took place in Stamford... 1881 census for London has Harry's age as 27 and his birth year as 1854 ... and that he was born in Whittlesey. Cambridge... Harry and Mary Ann and Daughter Mary Ann and 4 Stapleton Children moved to Australia in 1882.. That is all I have on Harry. Hoping to find someone who has Harry and Mary Ann in their Family...... Regards Jan
