Best wishes Maureen ----- Original Message ----- From: M Cook To: ENG-CAMBRIDGESHIRE-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Wednesday, October 13, 2004 7:28 AM Subject: [ENG-CAMB] Re: ENG-CAMBRIDGESHIRE-D Digest V04 #359 --=======6CD84ED4======= Content-Type: text/plain; x-avg-checked=avg-ok-32A5CE2; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Hi Maureen, Thank you so much for your very fast reply. This is certainly the family Im looking for and yes, I would be most grateful if you could send me full details of the entry for my records. So far I have Hannah as follows: Born 1820 North Elkington, near Louth 1841 Census Hannah Drury 20 at Kelstern Female Servant 1851 Hannah Drury 26 Linwood House, March Born N. Elkington 127th April, 1851 Marriage to William Taylor (then aged 20). Probable reason for reduction in Hannahs age. 1861 Hannah Taylor 38 at Town End, March born N. Elkington 1871 Hannah Taylor 46 at Wimblington Road, March born Northallerton, Lincs !! 1881 Hannah Taylor 55 do born Louth 1901 Sarah Taylor 80 do born Lincolnshire. (Probably Hannah) You will see that I quoted her age wrongly again in my e-mail - just to keep up the family tradition! She appears to have reverted to her correct age in 1891. I can trace the family back three more generations and would dearly like to set her age at a definite 80 in 1901 to be 100% certain of the connection. I hope to go to the Lincolnshire Archives Search Room next week to tackle the GRO to find her date of death. If there is anything I can check for you while Im there, please let me know. They have everything except the 1841 and 61 Census records, but I have the 1841 on disks. Once again, many thanks for your help.
