Hi, We are looking for imformation on Sarah Prior who was born in 1888 in Swavesey Cambridgeshire, her Father was Charles Prior, Her Mother was Elizabeth ? she had 3 known Brothers, Walter, Arthur & Osbourn who all served in WW1. She Married Walter Northill who was born in Birmingham in 1885, who also served in WWI. In 1917 she was living in Headstone Road Harrow Middlesex, during the War she had short spells of residency on the Isle of Sheppey any info greatly appreciated. Hi, We have an interest in PRIORs of Swavesey but didn't have your Charles and Elizabeth. Whilst looking to see if there was a connection we found the family on the 1881 census, with their sons Walter G and Osborn G (aged 2 and 4m). Elizabeth was shown as being born in Tilbrook, Beds. It looks like the marriage is on FreeBMD as follows - Sep 1877 St. Ives 3b 454, between Charles PRIOR and Elizabeth OSBORNE. Elizabeth's family are on the IGI as follows - parents George OSBORNE and Ann, with Sarah Ann c. 10 Apr 1853, Elizabeth 4 Nov 1855, Harriett 11 Jul 1858 and Emily 25 Sep 1864, all in Tilbrook, Beds. Not sure if that's all correct, but maybe a starter for you to check. We'd still like to know where your Charles fits in - the PRIORs are often difficult to trace and we know that some of them are non-conformist so they don't always appear in the PRs. So if you find the parents of Charles, please let us know.
