At the risk of being a pain, I am still looking for information on my William WILLSON. I have found an entry in a 1862 directory for "William WILLSON, Linen & woollen draper, Crown Street, St. Ives". As clutching at straws is becoming an habitual pastime , I wondered if anyone was able to check the 1861 census for this person. I am aware that St. Ives was Huntingdonshire at that time, but I know a lot of the records for there is held in Cambridgeshire now. Here's hoping Gail in NZ
