Now I'm looking for more information on Ruth, the daughter who was born at the Perse Grade School Cambridge December 24 th 1828. I can't find her anywhere between 1828 and 1871. Smythe abt 1840 Cambridgeshire, England Lodger (Head) Ruth Smythe abt 1834 Cambridgeshire, England Wife 1891 England Census - Penrith Cumberland Smyth, Henry 51Cambridge, Cambridgeshire Head Smyth, Ruth 60 Cambridge, Cambridgeshire Wife Ruth was buried in Crosby Ravensworth, Westmorland, next to her sister Elizabeth. (Her father was born in Crosby Ravensworth, and Ruth visited her aunts frequently) The Parish Register in (page)29 (entry no)225 says Ruth Smyth Crichton Royal Institution,Dumfries 25/06 1900 (age)70 Robert Webster, Vicar.
