Witchford is in fact near Ely Looking at my OS map(1954) I would imagine it might be one of the drove's off the March to Wisbech road. Somebody more knowledgable might have other ideas!!! As an aside there used to be one of the largest railway marshalling yards at Whitemoor (in the days before Beeching axed a lot of the country routes) & there is now a prison there. Pam
