    3. Here is a possible death of Henry. Perhaps his death record would tell more. Name: Choat, Henry Record Type: Deaths Age at death: 74 Quarter: December Year: 1888 District: Risbridge County: Cambridgeshire Essex Suffolk Volume: 4a Page: 830 (click to see others on page) Below is what may be the same man as above marrying in 1852. Could his first wife had died and he remarried? Also, perhaps for purposes of the 1841 and 1851 census he was considered to be in another county (Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk): Name: Choat, Henry Record Type: Marriages Quarter: December Year: 1852 District: Risbridge County: Cambridgeshire Essex Suffolk Volume: 4a Page: 731 (click to see others on page) Below is the marriage of a Henry Choot in Suffolk in 1800 (from www.familysearch.org ): Husband HENRY CHOOT Marriage: 31 JUL 1800 Withersfield, Suffolk, England Wife REBECCA CHALLIS PURKIS And here is the baptism of Henry Choat, son of the above couple, in 1814. This is probably the same man as shown on the death record above, as the Henry Choat who died in 1888 was 74 years old at the time (born about 1814): HENRY CHOAT Male Christening: 09 OCT 1814 Withersfield, Suffolk, England Father: HENRY CHOAT Mother: REBECCA -----Original Message----- From: AndyandHeatha@aol.com [mailto:AndyandHeatha@aol.com] Sent: Thursday, August 12, 2004 3:39 AM To: ENG-CAMBRIDGESHIRE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [ENG-CAMB] Henry CHOAT Thanks for the help. William's birth certificate has been duly ordered but where did his father disappear to? He must have been alive in 1841 if William was born in 1844. The mystery continues..................
