AND if you are looking for them at the Family Records Centre they are known by the name of "Chaplain's Returns" and are filed with all the other 'sundry' indexes such as "Consular Returns", "BMDs at Sea", etc. IF the marriage took place while a regiment was out in India you should also find it at the "India Library" at "The British Library" at St. Pancras - but you will have to know where they were stationed as the whole system is divided up into 3 'Presidencies' :- Madras, Bombay and Bengal. (I found my great-grandfather's 1st marriage in the "Chaplain's Returns" at the FRC and in the 'Madras Presidency' registers. I hope that this helps !
