Hello I am trying to trace the family of my Great great grandfather Francis G Pryor. He was born c 1862 in Comberton, Cambridge, I believe. My great uncle remembers that when he came to be of the age to claim an old age pension it was found that his birth had never been recorded officially and he had to make some sort of declaration to qualify. This makes tracing his ancestors a little difficult. I have him on the 1891 and 1901 census. Family recollections have his parents as William Pryor and Susan or Susanna. Their children included Frederick b c 1858 Arthur Harry Albert William b 1872 Please can someone look at the early census records for me to see if the family are listed. I especially want to find Francis on the 1871 and 1881 census, and perhaps find out what the G initial stood for!!
