Hello to David and Paula, Thank you so much for all the digging you have done on my behalf. Both of you went above and beyond! I'm actually researching this tree for a friend and he is going to be very pleased. The Cambs FHS website is fantastic, especially for us who are "away". David's random thoughts weren't really so random - right on the money. And thanks to Paula pointing me in the direction of Charlotte BLANKS on the 1851 census with her future mother-in-law Elizabeth ARCH - I should have thought of that but didn't. My friend is descended from William's second wife so I wasn't as concerned with Charlotte as I should have been. Good lesson!
