    3. Thomas Jones was born c.1771 in Lancashire, He married Mary Robertson born c.1771 from Cambridgeshire, however without going through the parish records we have been unable at this stage to trace their marriage date. Unfortunately Thomas died before the introduction of the named Census, there was a Census prior to 1841 however it was purely numerical with no personal details recorded. Mary has a common first name and surname which has made it impossible to find her on the 1841 census without having more detail. >From the online records we have found that Thomas died c.1832 while Mary died c.1843. These dates could be confirmed and given more detail by looking at local burial records. It may be possible to get a death certificate for Mary as died after 1837 but parish records would be the only way with Thomas to find out more. hi thought i would repost this as well thanks Michele ____________________________________________________________________________________ Expecting? 3. The Henry (see your other posting) that is on the Cambs FHS baptism index in 1806 at Whittlesey has parents Thomas and Mary. The burial index has Thomas aged 78 buried in Whittlesey in 1832, and even allowing for burial ages being notoriously unreliable, his birth may have been well before 1771. Just curious- how do you know Thomas was from Lancs?
