Hi Ros I have Philip b1813 Histon in my tree. The info I have is that he married Mary b. c1814 in Westwick, but I don't have a date for the marriage or Mary's surname. I have 3 children from the marriage so far - Philip b. c1842; Daniel b. c1849 & Mary Ann b. c1855, all in Histon. I may have missed Eliza, I must go back and check! I have parents & grandparents for Philip (1813), as my husband is a direct descendant of them. Lynn Cowan has very kindly sent me details in the past from her Parish register fiche. (Thanks again, Lynn!) And I have been transcribing the Oakington marriage register for FreeREG. At the moment I'm working on the Histon marriage PR but haven't yet got to any Papworths, as I'm only up to 1650, and they don't show up there until about 1795. If you have any more info that you would like to share I should be very pleased to hear from you. Meanwhile I shall start searching again! And, if anyone else would like the info - I have Papworths, some Chapmans - though haven't been able to go as far back with them... and bits on the people whose families married Papworths.
