Hello Listers, Is there by chance anyone on the list who is descended from Levi Young (1830 Chatteris) I am trying to solve a riddle regarding the family of his Eldest Son's (Frederick), wife Mary Ann Croft. When Mary Ann was 14/15 (1871) in her household with herself and widowed mother (Mary) is a Richard Croft aged 2 (Grandson). he is also in the mothers house again in 1881 Could anyone tell me if he is a baseborn son to Mary Ann, as no doubt you can all appreciate getting birth certs for all the people on the fringes of the trees is just too cost prohibitive.
